Club Camp Fornebu (Norway) 2024

Nordic Table Tennis, in collaboration with Fornebu BTK, is organizing a table tennis camp this spring in Torrevieja (Spain), where you can combine a week-long vacation by the sea with top-class table tennis training!
Fornebu BTK has booked an 8-day training week in Spain (6 training days) in May together with us. Not only will this be a top-class table tennis camp, but the sun, swimming, and warm weather—combined with great food and other activities—will make the experience a fantastic table tennis memory!
We also welcome players from other clubs to participate in the training week who play in Sweden’s Division 2 or higher in the league system, or at a level equivalent to that.

| Accommodations | The “club hotel” is Hotel Madrid (the apartment section) in Torrevieja. You’re free to choose where you want to stay; make your own reservation. |
| Meals | Everyone is free to choose where and what they want to eat. We’ll organize a few group dinners for anyone who’d like to join. |
| Who is it for | The camp is intended for players who compete in Sweden’s Division 2 or higher in the league system (or a comparable level in other countries’ league systems). Players under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. |
The coach at the camp is Marcus Sjöberg, former head coach of Sweden and England and current head coach of Norway. Marcus is one of the most accomplished and successful coaches in Europe over the past 10 years. Joining Marcus as a coach will be Anton Åkesson, who has coached at some of Sweden’s and Norway’s biggest clubs.
Anton will be in charge of the program for the first 4 days while Marcus is away on national team duty; after that, both Marcus and Anton will serve as coaches.
Several talented players from the region will participate as sparring partners.

Nordic Table Tennis is helping us with everything on-site, including booking the venue, providing equipment, coaches, and sparring partners. The cost for this is 220€ per person participating in the training sessions.
