Welcome to the best table tennis experience of the spring!
Nordic Table Tennis is back in Altea for this year's coolest table tennis camp where you can combine a vacation week in a four-star hotel right by the sea while getting world-class table tennis training!

For 6 days in April, senior players gather in Spain to train and develop together. Some of Europe's best coaches are responsible for making the stay the best and most rewarding camp this spring. While it will be a top-class table tennis camp, the sun, swimming and warmth combined with good food will make the experience your best table tennis memory!

Our goal with the camp is that it should be of the highest class and regardless of the level of the participants, you should get the most out of this camp. In combination with this, there will also be time for you to find fun things together. Regardless of the level, we will solve so that everyone gets a really good training week and a fantastic experience!

Accommodation We are staying at the four-star hotel Cap Negret which is located right by the sea and about 10 minutes walk from the training hall.
Meals   Full board (Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner)

All meals are served buffet style at the hotel and are of the highest quality. There is a huge amount of goodies to choose from.

For which The camp is aimed at senior and veteran players (youngest age is 18). Everything from raven to elite players are welcome, the training will be divided and adapted to the level. Players under 18 are welcome with a guardian (minimum age 12 years)

The head coach of the camp is:

Ulf "Tickan" Carlsson, former national team player in table tennis with a World Championship gold in doubles in 1985 and two European Championship team golds. As national coach, he led Sweden to the World Championship bronze medal in 2018 and has also won the Swedish Championship as a club coach.

Marcus Sjöberg is Sweden's current national table tennis coach and has extensive international experience. He has previously led both Sweden's junior and senior national teams and has been the national coach of England's men's national team.

Åsa Carlsson, former Swedish national team player in table tennis with two Olympic participations and European team bronze in 2002. She has played internationally at a high level and been a coach in Halmstad BTK. Today she is active as a personal trainer and group training manager in Halmstad.

Sara Ramírez is a Spanish table tennis player and London 2012 Olympian. She has won 27 Spanish championship titles and took the European doubles bronze medal in 2013. Ramírez has also won team gold at the Mediterranean Games.

Anton Åkesson, former Swedish elite table tennis player and now coach. He has won the Swedish Championship gold in junior doubles and has been a coach in some of Sweden's and Norway's top table tennis clubs.

The sports hall is located approximately 800 metres from the hotel and is a full-size facility with 22 table tennis tables set up.

Sunday: Travel day

Travel day! Welcome at any time during the day, there will be no training today as participants will arrive at different times. Dinner on arrival day is included at the hotel.

Meet in the hotel reception at 10:00 to walk to the sports hall together. We’ll begin with an overview of the week before the training session starts.

Travel day! You are welcome to book a return trip at any time during the day. We will not train on this day. Breakfast at the hotel before departure is included.

Transfer between Alicante airport and the hotel in Altea (participants book their own transfer)

Single rooms are also available for an additional fee of €450. Please note that we have a limited number of rooms, so we prefer participants to share a room with another participant at the camp.
