Hello!
Karlsborgs BTK has been at camp in Guadamar Spain for a week where Nordic Table Tennis sewed together our camp according to our wishes. We were just over 20 veterans on site and want to give a BIG THANK YOU to Anton and Marcus who made this camp so professional for us. We are super super happy (not only with the weather) it was a wonderful week, with a lot of training (about 3 hours / day) this arrangement meant that we got both ping pong, relaxation in the form of sun and salty baths and cultural visits during our stay. Their training was very professional and based on our level, where everyone received training at an individual level.

A great camp simply so you who are thinking of a club camp with professional coaches while sun and swimming attract do not hesitate to contact Nordic Table Tennis, we have now completed our second camp, but not the last in Spain.

A BIG THANK YOU Anton & Marcus

Karlsborgs Table Tennis Club

We want to thank all participants for a great camp. We ran a total of 12 tough training sessions and all players participated in all sessions. This is very unique for a group of 32 players.

Here are some general points that we reflected on and think are important to work on at home:

  • Something we often talk about is striving to move your feet first, trying to find a good position and playing the shot in balance. A lot of players start hitting too early and then get much worse timing.
  • Try to hit forehand and backhand equally far forward on the same "line". Many players stress too much with the backhand and take the ball too far forward and then in the forehand you get so much power from behind that the hit is late. Strive to hit forehand and backhand about equally.
  • Use your best shots/sides as much as you can, adjusting your serve and return game to use your strengths as often as possible.

In addition to the tough training, we had two nice evenings at the activity center in Söderhamn where the participants could play mini tennis, various computer games, shuffleboard, watch movies, billiards and much more. The days during the week were very hot at the end so we took the opportunity to go swimming between the sessions one of the days.

We hope all participants are as happy with the camp as we are! Please feel free to spread the information about the summer camp to your ping pong friends so that more people have the opportunity to participate next summer.

We - Per and I - and probably all the others were very happy with the stay, which was SO fine! And we very much hope that Lars and Henning will establish a new exciting and developing training stay under your and Marcus' auspices.

Nordic Table Tennis has just finished the fall senior camp in Altea. 23 participants from Sweden, Norway and Denmark participated during the week. We can look back on a camp with a lot of training, joy, sun, swimming, good food and much more. We are already looking forward to welcoming you all to our next training camp. More information will come soon. THANK YOU!

Nordic Table Tennis would like to thank Karlsborgs BTK for a fantastic week in Spain. We are very happy to have organized our first club camp in Torrevieja for your club. It was a fantastic bunch of players and companions who made the week a great week. You are warmly welcome back next year again.

Karlsborgs BTK would like to thank Nordic Table Tennis for a fantastic camp week in Spain. We were 18 people from Karlsborgs BTK who went to Spain from 13 years to 70 +, where Marcus and Anton prepared our camp in the best possible way. A perfect camp that with their expertise made everyone super happy and strengthened club cohesion. In addition to ping pong, there was time for swimming and sunbathing, some did a round of golf and some went wine tasting. Everything was perfect from the smallest detail from start to finish, we will return next year! Thank you Nordic Table Tennis for your commitment to us from amateurs to more established players.
